	Ali - Area Manager		Area Manager Ali - I have worked for the company for nearly 9 years. I joined the company in 2000 as Store manager then in 2003 became Area Manager. A very friendly family like atmosphere all combine to make The Gift Company a great Company to work for and hopefully that is reflected when you visit our stores.


	Helen - Albert Dock		Albert Dock Helen - She's the longest working member of the team, she's been with the company for around 20 years!! She is a lovely boss and she loves working on the dock Ruth - She has been working for the company for nearly 8 years now...she's very passionate about her job and loves working on the dock, a great team member! Georgina - She's been working for the company since November as our Saturday girl! She's a great worker and loves it when the dock gets busy on a Saturday so there's lots to do! Heather - I've been working here since last January so just over a year now! I love it! The view of the water from the shop is beautiful, its a great place to work, not just because of the scenery but because the shop brings so many lovely customers! I don't think I've ever had any problems with any customers since I've been working here which is excellent and not like any of my previous jobs! On behalf of all of us at the Albert Dock we would like to say that the staff here at the The Gift Company are so wonderfully helpful as well...if we ever have any problems help is ALWAYS there! Oh and Alison's great too! How could I forget Alison? I've never met such a friendly helpful area manager before!!


	Dianne - Durham		Durham Dianne I have been with the company 9 1/2 years. I started as a relief manager for 6 months only, but was kept on which I was pleased about. I have always loved my job, the store can be called my own most of the time and I take great pride in it. It's a friendly company, there's always someone to help on the phone from another if needed. We have yearly get- togethers for a chat which is great. I have a great team and we have get- togethers often also. Karen - I have worked for the Gift Company for 5 1/2 years. I used to be a full time member of the team but now only do one day as I now have a young daughter. I enjoy working for the Gift Company because it is a happy place to work and we have a lot of loyal customers who shop with us regularly which makes it a friendly place to work. Mary - I have worked for the Gift Company for 4 years. I am the holiday cover for the other members of staff. I enjoy meeting a wide variety of people from the Durham students to the o.a.p's that shop in the Gift Company. Maureen I have been with the Gift company for 6 years, I have found it to be a friendly place to work. Everyone is willing to help and we have become friends as well as colleagues James I started working at the Gift Company in February 2008 and found it to be a very enjoyable and friendly environment to work in, becoming close friends with all members of staff and a good relationship with our customers.


	Karen - Leicester		Leicester Karen I have worked for the company for nearly 3 years. Married to Alan for 28years, three kids, 7 grand kids and we like traveling. Deb - single mum, 2 years with company, one kid and two grand kids. Likes F1 racing. Gaynor - single mum, 4 kids, is also a carer for her parents. Loves working for the company Gem - I've been working here since last January so just over a year now! I love it! I don't think I've ever had any problems with any customers since I've been working here which is excellent and not like any of my previous jobs! Is Gaynors daughter. Both have worked for the company for a year F1 fans. Nina old school 4 years with the company, single, likes sport, art, going out with friends Mam Shirley has been with us for 2 years as stock help on delivery days, mainly xmas and holidays. She has this strange habit of collecting Gift Company stock and putting it in her house


	Caroline - Lincoln		Lincoln Caroline, shop manager, worked at the Gift Company for 9 years, phew, long time. Hazel - worked here for 8 years Muriel - been here 3 years Lauren has been here just a couple of months, Can't think of anything funny to say about us, we're a boring lot.


	Vicky - Llandudno		Llandudno Vicky - Been with the company 13years. Vicky started as area manager then moved to Llandudno store manager. Iola - Has been with the company for 6years. Iola started part time and is now assistant manager Mike - Has been with the company for 6years. Mike started part time and is full time at the store and also part time at the Gift Company warehouse. Jo - Has been with the company for 3years part time Taelor - Has been with the company for 6months part time. Taelor is Vicky's daughter Jake - Has been with the company for 6months part time. Jake is Vicky's son


	Jane - Lowry		Lowry Jane I've been with the company over 3yrs and enjoy it, I started off as a sale assistant for about a year and a half have now been given the managers roll which I fully enjoy! I feel as though I interact well with customers and enjoy merchandising too. Rachel - - Another member of the Lowry team. She is a credit to the Gift Company. She's a good listener, worker and great at merchandising and also 100% reliable if we need her at the drop of a hat! She's been with us for about 2yrs. Beth - She works weekends and she has worked with us for about 1 and a half years. She is great at interacting with new customers and sales


	Julie - Southport		Southport Julie has worked with the company for 2 years. Julie started off at the Trafford store as sales assistant and was promoted to store manager at the Southport store within six months. Julie loves the gift company and never wants to leave!!! Angela - has worked here at Southport for over two years and enjoys the customer interaction and the fact that she can have a healthy work and home life, Tanya - has worked for the company for 16 months and is the queen of merchandising and loves the company outings, Nicky is the baby of the team and has only been with us for three months but is thoroughly enjoying herself with us old timers


			Telford The telford team consists of four staff, elaine-manager, sonia, june and sophie. We have worked together for four years , within which time we have built a fabulous rapport and great team spirit. We all mostly enjoy the fact that we work for a small family run business which our customers and ourselves are able to feel a part of. We have all often had meals together (mostly cooked by elaine) and the occasional night out to the cinema.


	Sue - Trafford		Trafford Sue - I started at the Gift Company 9 years ago and I have got 2 children. Sometimes wish we could have some old ranges back but the new lines are brilliant. I loved the store from day 1. I feel very much part of the Gift Company family and I feel as though the store is my own and I have great pride in the Trafford store and staff. Gemma - She has been with the company 18months Elaine - She has been with the company 12months Katie - She has been with the company nearly 6months Steph - She has been with the company for 3years and is currently on maternity leave


	Jude - Worcester		Worcester Our Worcester shop has been open now for 12 years and in that time we have seen lots of changes especially in the stock we sell. This has gone from strength to strength. We have also seen a change in the way our customers shop not forgetting that we are now 12 years older. We as a team here have got to know our regular customers and its lovely to see how their families have grown over the years when they return to Worcester on their holidays or back for our famous Christmas fair. Worcester is a fantastic place to visit with the cathedral being at the heart of the city which bring lots of visitors but we are also lucky to have the cricket and racing on top of the river Severn with boat trips available. The famous Malvern hills are just a few minutes away with breath taking views and fantastic walks not forgetting the famous Malvern Spring Waters which is available free from various springs which is why the Worcester team look so young!!!! You have seen it recently on T.V so come and visit us in Worcester where you will receive a warm welcome from our happy team Love Worcester Store


	Sheila - York		York I have worked at the Gift Company for 9 years. Everyone is willing to help each other from management to shop staff. Very friendly, and the best company I have worked for and I have worked for quite a few!!!
