Ali - I have worked for the company for nearly 9 years.
I joined the company in 2000 as Store manager then in 2003 became Area Manager.
A very friendly family like atmosphere all combine to make The Gift Company a great Company to work for and hopefully that is reflected when you visit our stores.

On behalf of all of us at the Albert Dock we would like to say that the staff here at the The Gift Company are so wonderfully helpful as well...if we ever have any problems help is ALWAYS there! Oh and Alison's great too! How could I forget Alison? I've never met such a friendly helpful area manager before!!

Dianne I have been with the company 9 1/2 years. I started as a relief manager for 6 months only, but was kept on which I was pleased about. I have always loved my job, the store can be called my own most of the time and I take great pride in it. It's a friendly company, there's always someone to help on the phone from another if needed. We have yearly get- togethers for a chat which is great. I have a great team and we have get- togethers often also.
Karen - I have worked for the Gift Company for 5 1/2 years. I used to be a full time member of the team but now only do one day as I now have a young daughter. I enjoy working for the Gift Company because it is a happy place to work and we have a lot of loyal customers who shop with us regularly which makes it a friendly place to work.
Maureen I have been with the Gift company for 6 years, I have found it to be a friendly place to work. Everyone is willing to help and we have become friends as well as colleagues
James I started working at the Gift Company in February 2008 and found it to be a very enjoyable and friendly environment to work in, becoming close friends with all members of staff and a good relationship with our customers.

Karen I have worked for the company for nearly 3 years. Married to Alan for 28years, three kids, 7 grand kids and we like traveling.
Debbie - single mum, 2 years with company, one kid and two grand kids. Likes F1 racing.
Gaynor - single mum, 4 kids, is also a carer for her parents. Loves working for the company
Gem - I've been working here since last January so just over a year now! I love it! The view of the water from the shop is beautiful, its a great place to work, not just because of the scenery but because the shop brings so many lovely customers! I don't think I've ever had any problems with any customers since I've been working here which is excellent and not like any of my previous jobs! Is Gaynors daughter. Both have worked for the company for a year F1 fans.
Mam Shirley has been with us for 2 years as stock help on delivery days, mainly xmas and holidays. She has this strange habit of collecting Gift Company stock and putting it in her house

Julie has worked with the company for 3 years. Julie started off at the Trafford store as sales assistant and was promoted to store manager at the Southport store within six months, she has new moved to our Lowry store (nearer to home) Julie loves the gift company and never wants to leave!!!

The telford team consists of five staff, Sonia-manager, June. Vicki, Rachael & Connor ( Sonia's son) We have worked together for a number of years , within which time we have built a fabulous rapport and great team spirit. We all mostly enjoy the fact that we work for a small family run business which our customers and ourselves are able to feel a part of. We have all often had meals together (mostly cooked by elaine) and the occasional night out to the cinema.

Our Worcester shop has been open now for 12 years and in that time we have seen lots of changes especially in the stock we sell. This has gone from strength to strength.
We have also seen a change in the way our customers shop not forgetting that we are now 12 years older. We as a team here have got to know our regular customers and its lovely to see how their families have grown over the years when they return to Worcester on their holidays or back for our famous Christmas fair.
Worcester is a fantastic place to visit with the cathedral being at the heart of the city which bring lots of visitors but we are also lucky to have the cricket and racing on top of the river Severn with boat trips available. The famous Malvern hills are just a few minutes away with breath taking views and fantastic walks not forgetting the famous Malvern Spring Waters which is available free from various springs which is why the Worcester team look so young!!!!
